The AVOS team has made an effort to develop analytical tools and expertise around several areas of need within the evolving healthcare industry. Areas where AVOS Consulting has developed intellectual property and extensive expertise include:
- Total Shareholder Return (TSR) – The TSR offering provides insight into which performance measures drive valuation, in terms of share price or other measures, across the healthcare industry as well as within subsegments and individual companies.
- Capital Allocation – A component of numerous offerings our analytical toolkit, AVOS Consulting is able to assess capital allocation both quantitatively and qualitatively across an organization and within segments (e.g., across R&D within an organization).
- Value Maximization – Value Maximization analyzes the entire process of value creation within an organization, from research and development through to commercialization, highlighting the most efficient resourcing and spending in order to derive maximum value from an organization’s assets.
- Portfolio Optimization – The Portfolio Optimization tool is both a stand-alone offering and a component of the Value Maximization toolkit. The offering takes into account real-world uncertainty and a risk-return framework within its modeling in order to determine the optimal portfolio for development.
- New Development Models – As the industry looks to develop products more quickly with fewer resources and spend, AVOS Consulting continues to evaluate and engineer new development models as part of both our analytical toolkit and consulting engagements.
